The program which is being delivered by the Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC, supports the development of marketing skills and plans, the creation of market research and export-focused materials and participation in export-focused market development activities, including reaching new customers through inter/provincial / international trade shows.
Funding availability varies by applicant with cost-shared funding available to BC producers, processors, associations and co-operatives in the 2020/21 fiscal year. The program is funded through the Canadian Agricultural Partnership, which was created by the federal, provincial and territorial governments to strengthen the agriculture, food and beverage and seafood sectors and amounts to a $3B investment over a five-year span (2018 – 2023).

Download and complete a Part A application form from the CAP: BCASMDP homepage and then email the document to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, organization and contact information. From there, your application will be reviewed and you will be notified if you are eligible for funding. . The deadline for receiving Part A (eligibility) applications for projects in the 2020 – 21 fiscal year is November 1st 2019. Approved applicants will be able to submit a Part B application detailing the project(s) you’d like to apply for. The Part B application deadline is November 29, 2019.
