THE POSITION
We’re looking for a strategic and data-driven Paid Media Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated paid media campaigns across platforms like Google, Social, LinkedIn, other Digital OOH and programmatic channels. You’ll work closely with our accounts, project management, social, and creative teams to deliver high-performing campaigns that align with client goals.
Areas of primary responsibility in this position include:
- Collaborating with our clients and internal marketers to craft beautifully thought-out paid media strategies.
- Gathering media vendor pricing/estimates, and helping prepare project estimates.
- ·Leading the roll-out of paid media strategies and campaigns that can have multiple goals, such as driving brand awareness, engagement, reach, conversions, etc.
- Conduct keyword research, nuanced audience targeting, and A/B testing.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling ad copy and visuals
- Tracking, optimizing, and reporting on campaign performance, and communicating those results with internal marketers and clients.
- Manage budgets and pacing to ensure efficient spend.
- Stay current on platform updates, trends, and best practices.
- Support new business pitches with media strategy and scoping.
- Working with the VP Strategy to develop additional vendor partners and grow the paid media capabilities.
- Act as a key point of contact at Crew for paid media thinking and strategic guidance.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- You’ve got roughly 5+ years experience in paid media management in an agency setting
- Bonus if you have experience with retail media buying (e.g., Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Instacart, etc.)
- Proven track record of managing successful campaigns across Google Ads and Meta platforms
- You can demonstrate proven success thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
- You are no stranger to leading multi-channel, data-driven media campaigns. And you’ve got a strong understanding of the finer points of execution too.
- You’re experienced working in or with DTC/eCommerce brands.
- You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty. In fact, you think it’s kind of fun.
- You know the ins & outs of a variety of digital media channels and platforms, such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager.
- You know your performance metrics and can speak confidently to them.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with tools like Google Analytics, LookerStudio, Excel, etc.
- Curious mindset and desire to always be learning, innovating, and optimizing.
