The specialty coffee market is crowded with both local roasters and large brands, all vying for limited shelf space. Consumers often find specialty coffee intimidating, unsure where to start, and many retailers struggle to differentiate between offerings. Level Ground needed a distinct voice and visual identity to carve out space and appeal.

Consumers want premium coffee that’s approachable. They value quality but are overwhelmed by the technical language and rituals often associated with specialty coffee. A brand that simplifies the experience while signaling expertise could build trust, drive trial, and create a loyal following.
