Since founding CREW in 2007, he’s been a visionary, mentor, strategist, rainmaker and relentlessly positive cheerleader for our rapidly growing company. From an internship at Procter & Gamble to a successful career at Frito-Lay, Braden’s marketing strategies have consistently delivered increased sales and growth. When he’s not inspiring his CREW at work or winding up his two children into a frenzy at home, he’s motivating business leaders at international conferences. We’re not sure he sleeps.
Chief Creative Officer
Before he joined CREW Gerald sold cars. Lots and lots of them. All across Canada. For KIA. As Executive Creative Director at Innocean, he helped launch and lead the Korean-based agency and for seven years built it into a creative powerhouse. He’s been in top creative slots at Grey, Taxi, Cossette and is now looking forward to building CREW from his global headquarters in Oakville. When not road cycling the Niagara escarpment, flipping fish on the barbeque or rewiring his home to get free cable, Gerald is busy challenging and changing CREW into a creative force to be reckoned with. It’s why we love Schoenhoff. (OK, cheap pun.)
Nate comes to CREW after a decade of working with McCain and Parmalat. Professionally, he knows a lot about core portfolio renovations, campaign development and P&L improvements. Oh, and french fries. Nate has found success creating brand foundations, deeply understanding the products and audiences, inspiring teams, and a host of other activities involving complicated spreadsheets. When not spending time with his wife and kids, he also runs competitively, having completed a half ironman. Which makes him, what, aluminum?

Before signing on with CREW in 2014, Josh put his Psych degree to work inspiring teams to create award-winning experiential marketing campaigns for Microsoft, Rogers, Motorola and Petro Canada. So of course we sent him to Kelowna. Josh is the Columbus of CREW, exploring new markets and bringing our unique entrepreneurial approach to BC’s interior markets. Josh is all about people. He loves meeting potential partner clients and showing them how smart marketing can help their business grow. Preferably while playing golf.
Director of Marketing Services, Oakville
After nearly 12 years in various marketing roles with Tim Horton’s, our expectations for Karen run pretty high. But so far… no Honey Dips, not even a single Timbit. Sure, there’s her shared agency experience working at Cossette, her leadership of Tim’s marketing campaigns in North America, her national experience in retail fashion with Cadillac Fairview, but so far, not much as muffin crumb. Seriously, we are in awe of Karen’s marketing and advertising skills and her mania for bootcamps while our clients continue to benefit from this important Paradine shift. (Sorry; once-in-a-lifetime pun opportunity.)
Senior Marketing Manager
Before joining CREW, Carrie put her Marketing BBA to work in Hong Kong playing with toys. Okay, she was Mattel’s Regional Marketing Manager APAC but hey, our description sounds more fun. Carrie’s an international marketing expert, working in Australia as well as North America on various tech startups and multi-national corporations. Oh, and Hootsuite. She has also traveled exhaustively in Southeast Asia, satisfying her passion for Thai and Japanese food. Although lately she’s been spotted with a Big Mac on her breath.
Jessica understands the concept of teamwork, having thrashed her way to several CIS University hockey championship finals. This hard-charging experience is quite beneficial to Josh in Kelowna, although he often has to ask her to leave her helmet off when meeting clients. Jessica thrives on the day-to-day challenges of a start-up office because it allows her to expand her skill sets and learn skills that go beyond the scope of her BBA. Like planning digital campaigns and optimizing stapler selection.
Senior Marketing Manager
Michelle’s vast experience includes making positive connections at Best Buy, spinning Boston Pizza promotions across the west, dialing up projects for TELUS and juggling marketing programs (and eggplants) for Save-On. Along with her staggering array of project and client management skills, she brings a love of exploring the outdoors with her family as well as an almost irrational love of the Minnesota Vikings. Oh, and a passion for all things Disney, apparently. Which explains the alternating Ariel and Moana lunch pails.
Business Development Manager
You may already know Corwin. The word on the street is that he specializes in …well… everything. For 14 years he’s run his own company producing, managing and marketing all kinds of wild, creative business projects generating over $3M in sales last year alone. Corwin gets things done and he's a business-building superhero which makes him an ideal fit for CREW. He does, however, think he’s Batman. It's no joke. Check out his LinkedIn posts. Officially we’re not worried. Yet.
Dennis has been part of the Kelowna CREW team since our office opened in 2014, bringing his passion to help businesses succeed. His role as an éminence grise (google it, people) has been integral to helping the office find its footing and grow its clientele steadily. That’s because with his decades of business experience, all his personal and volunteer connections too, Dennis knows most everyone in the Okanagan. Literally. Your uncle in Summerland? Knows him. That second cousin in the Mission? Knows her, too.
Director of Digital Marketing
From scrappy start-ups to internationally respected brands, Brad has spent the last decade helping clients solve business problems and overcome digital dilemmas through strategic thinking and flawless creative execution. And shorter sentences. His brand and user experience approach for clients like Lululemon, Swisscom and The JUNO Awards has earned him a reputation for intelligent creativity. His writing has been published in a variety of magazines and newspapers as well as a couple of blogs that are kind of a big deal on the internet.
Associate Creative Director
Dan joined CREW in 2010, making him one of the original CREW members. His visionary approach to design combined with his strategic focus on finding solutions for clients has made him a key member of the creative team, working on virtually every kind of project – from packaging and websites to branding and campaigns. As CREW’s Associate Creative Director, Dan brings his talents and people skills to the forefront by leading a dedicated creative team comprised of art directors, designers and writers. A graduate of Capilano University’s IDEA program, he stays connected to education by teaching budding designers at the University of the Fraser Valley.
Director of Web Platforms
With 13 years (so far) under his digital workbelt, Giuseppe has done everything from programming and design to project and account management. His clients have included Alliance Films Canada, UBC Okanagan, Predator Ridge and BigSteelBox. Giuseppe applies his degrees in (1) Fine Arts and (2) Visual Interactive Developments and Design (whew) to inspire and push his team to create appealing, immersive online experiences. When he’s not pixelating his team’s productivity, Giuseppe finds time to pursue digital portraiture, hang with his family and count his grey hairs.
Associate Creative Director
A multi-talented miracle worker, Rachel began her CREW life as a senior designer before transitioning to client management. Rachel now cheerfully manages clients’ projects while tactfully apprising co-workers of wardrobe malfunctions and grooming gaffs. All in addition to running a busy family household. Needless to say, while being a stickler for detail, Rachel’s also able to keep the big picture in focus; a rare and valuable trait we cherish. Even when she’s telling us we have spinach in our teeth.
CREW Studios Director
He’s captured iconic images on film for Red Bull and Subaru, directed commercials for Jessica Alba’s Honest Company, written and directed TV series for Outside Television and FOX Fuel Network. Needless to say, Travis’s film skill sets are complete. And considerable. He writes, he produces, he shoots, he directs, he cuts, he makes julienne fries. If it has anything to do with the craft of filmmaking Travis has mastered it in his over twenty years in the industry. His latest production? A new baby son. Cue the music.
Web Development Manager
And you thought web development was all about headphone-clad coders quietly key punching to the sounds of their favourite obscure electronica band. Sure, there’s that. But then there’s someone like Abe who gets everyone on the same page. And keeps them there. Project management, quoting, scope definition, developer wrangling, information flow and quality control – these are just a few of the skill sets Abe brings to the table. Oh, and a somewhat baffling passion for smoking meats. (Cured, not inhaled.)
Marketing Project Manager
Earning her competitive racing license by age 16, Amy was well-positioned to graduate at the head of the pack with her BBA. After taking a victory lap in her Formula 1600, she did some projects for the Canadian NASCAR team and worked for Kellogg’s and Kimberly Clark before shifting gears and joining CREW Kelowna. A stickler for timing and precision, Amy is helping drive our team to increased performance, bringing the concept of speed-to-market to an entirely new level. She is currently looking for carpool partners.
Wouldn’t it be great to compare and find the cheapest mobile phone plan instantly online? That’s what entrepreneurially-minded Barnabas and his team in Hungary thought. So they created a wildly successful web app. He also worked for a “Groupon-like” company, helping execute complex digital marketing programs. What’s important to CREW is Barnabas truly, madly, deeply understands the math, metrics and mysterious digital language behind creating successful online campaigns. He’s also an avid freediver. Digital Art Director
Before joining CREW, Jeff animated his digits at Innocean, working for… surprise… our own CCO Gerald. After some award-winning work for Kia he followed his old boss’s siren song to CREW, where his creativity is very much in evidence online, to the delight of our clients. Jeff, however, cites his kids as his best creative work. When not crafting clever digital campaigns, he dreams of combining his love of Star Wars with hosting his own cooking channel on YouTube. Although he hasn’t progressed much past Princess Leia cinnamon buns.
Pixel Pusher and Problem Solver was Bryan’s preferred choice of job description but we felt that lacked the gravitas required for a graduate of the Conestoga College of Graphic Design & Marketing in Ontario. Bringing industry experience from Toronto and local agencies, we immediately snapped him up when he rolled into town. Bryan’s amazing skill sets aren’t limited to design, either. Snowboarding, basketball, soccer, illustration, photography… and cheese connoisseur. Any way you slice it, Bryan’s a big cheese wheel at CREW.
Production & Resource Manager
When he’s not putting his over two decades of print production, colour management and photoshopping skills to work at CREW, Cliff can be found: coaching his son’s football team, coaching his daughter’s volleyball team, participating in the Tough Mudder, running a marathon, cycling the Granfondo Whistler or photographing at various sporting events. We strongly suspect he comes to work for a much needed break. Cliff’s rocksteady focus and supreme technical competence give our designers the confidence to push the creative envelope.
Cameron comes to CREW from the prestigious halls of Humber College where he earned top honours in design. He brings all that fizzing creativity to CREW’s web projects, devising clever strategies to make totally excellent online experiences. Whether he’s trolling the dark web for secret lore to overcome clients’ challenges or finding the most creative solutions to turn a concept into a happening experience, Cameron marches to the beat of his own drum. Literally, by drumming on everything and anything he can find.
Marketing Project Manager
Brandishing a BBA with a Minor in Pysch, Caroline is magnificently prepared to diplomatically and persuasively manage client projects. And clients. She spent seven years Trade Marketing for the world’s largest wine company, so we’re leaning on her heavily… and not because we’ve sampled too much shiraz at lunch. Aside from her encyclopedic knowledge of global vintages, (she’s a WSET Level 2 oenophile) Caroline is exceptionally pet-friendly (her husband owns a doggy daycare) and as a mother of a young daughter can occasionally be overheard warbling the chorus of “Let It Go.” Nothing we love more than a singalong.
Cece is a one-woman bubble machine. Her effervescent personality greets visitors to CREW from Control Central at the front desk. Which is where she also masterminds CREW’s social presence and engagement strategy on various social media platforms. She shoots, she writes, she posts! And she volunteers. Cece recently spent three months working in a Greek camp for Turkish refugees. Wherever she is, Cece finds something interesting to post about. Because apparently we are all fodder for digital content.
Web Project Manager
Don’t let Cody’s windblown GQ style deceive you. Beneath it lurks a Richard Branson-like entrepreneur who sold his gaming tournament website to Virgin Games (hence the Branson namecheck) and currently operates an online wall-art marketplace. Perhaps his skill at multi-tasking and creativity in solving client problems for our web department comes from his over 14 years in the digital industry playing pretty much every role – graphic designer, web designer and e-commerce specialist. Or maybe it’s because he’s conquered the galaxy at least 32 times playing Starcraft.
Marketing Project Manager
Originally from London, England, Daniel brings his hyper-organized skill sets (and an Honours BBA in Marketing Management) to CREW. His positive outlook, attention to detail, spiffy fashion sense and dead sexy 1974 MGB Roadster make him an ideal candidate for, well, being cool. What’s really cool is while still at school, he co-founded Silver Surfers, a non-profit that teaches isolated seniors how to use smart technology to connect with loved ones. He also volunteers with several non-profits and plays a mean drum kit on the worship team at church.
West Coast proud, prairie tough. That’s how Deb describes herself. We don’t know what it means, but it sure sounds impressive. What’s more impressive is how Deb has switched hats within CREW, moving from the Marketing side over to Creative. (Better snacks.) These days her mad multi-tasking skills are put to the test crafting copy while Cooper, her chipper little fur-friend, cadges doggie treats from designers. Deb’s biggest adjustment since moving? No room for her massive Minion collection.
Marketing Project Manager
For over seventeen years Erin has been keeping the Oakville office on track and in line, overseeing day-to-day details as well as filling in the blanks on all kinds of projects – everything from research and quoting to proposal writing and proofreading. With so much experience, Erin certainly knows where the office skeletons are hidden. All of them. Which is why everyone obeys her without question. Sort of. Erin is constantly evolving and developing skill sets. Like baking the perfect banana bread. And establishing a solid rationale for including gummy worms and chocolate in the same food group. If anyone can, it’s Erin.
The first moment Gui (with a hard g - Geeeee) came to see us, we knew there was something special about him. Perhaps it was his exotic good looks (he’s from Rio). Or his glamorous Portuguese accent (he’s from Rio). Actually, it was his madly impressive design portfolio (it’s from Rio, too). He co-founded a design studio that produced strategic branding and interior design for everyone from real estate developers to different medical clinics. The CREW team in Surrey love working with gentle Gui and teaching him all kinds of embarrassing English slang.
Digital Marketing Specialist
In the pre-digital age, an ad was an ad. Today at CREW, thanks to Henna, a digital ad is something to be created, tested, tweaked and optimized until it becomes a money-making lead generator and customer conversion engine. Before working with us, Henna managed logistics for a transportation company and wrangled leads building hundreds of ads for real estate agents. So she pretty much gets the whole deadline/performance-driven/make-my-logo-bigger thing. To de-stress, she binge watches Friends, where she learned to “Pivvottt!” Who says TV isn’t educational?
After working on accounts like ESSO, McDonald’s, Safeway, Sun-Rype, SUBWAY, TELUS and KAL Tire, Ian decided to get back to his writing roots at CREW. He brings decades of experience on everything from branding to commercial production, not to mention an almost arcane knowledge of contemporary music. When he’s not crafting campaigns or authoring articles, Ian is enjoying a break from volunteering on his kids’ activities to sit back and watch them be awesome. He also enjoys writing about himself in the third person.
Marketing Project Manager
Prior to joining CREW, Jasleen oversaw Regional Marketing for MNP, which is a strong indicator that she has a firm grasp of numbers and budgets. Which should come in handy as she oversees multiple projects for CREW clients. Her sunny nature is a particular asset, especially when dealing with those temperamental creatives. When not volunteering for a senior’s support non-profit, she can be found devising ways to turn pizza into a superfood. And when she succeeds, she’ll have the branding taken care of. (hint)
As a CPA, Jennifer brings a keen eye to the bottom line and applies rigorous discipline to reducing operational inefficiencies as well as managing Braden’s expense account. Pretty much the same thing, really. Jennifer’s training for these tasks has been gained the hard way… by raising three daughters. When she’s not crunching numbers, compiling reports and crushing deadlines, she can be found binging on home renovation shows and Marvel movies. Open up the family room by taking out a wall? Hulk smash! Now that’s operational efficiency.
One of the reasons Justin was an instant fit for CREW was he played with us before. Back in the very first days before CREW was CREW, Justin worked on Dutch and many other accounts. And now he’s back, bringing his incredible skills sets and mellow vibe, counterbalanced by a whiff of rock and roll brimstone. That’s because when he’s not applying his brain to creating effective design and advertising concepts, his fingers are shredding his guitar in a cover band. Look at his picture. No Justin Bieber on the set list. Ever.
Assistant Finance Manager
Her job description may say simply Accountant, but Kamal's qualifications are high level indeed - a Bachelor of Science and then a CGA level 4 designation. So essentially, she can drill down expense reports to the sub atomic level. (Quite possibly the reason why Braden hasn't been able to write off his neon rainbow socks as a legitimate business expense.) Oh, she also reports she has a Phd in motherhood despite the fact she can't cook. Kamal prefers Greek food, Seinfeld reruns, opening offshore bank accounts and soap operas, not necessarily in that order.
After graduating from Kwantlen’s GDMA program, Lynn immediately sank her teeth into a variety of juicy creative challenges. After honing her design chops on everything from vegan meats to technical fabrics, Lynn joined us in 2017. Diving head first into several meaty projects, she demonstrated her excellent taste in both design and packaging. Although nothing tops the ‘wearable architecture’ outfit she made at school shaped like the Sydney Opera House. Lynn’s quick sense of humour and enthusiasm have made her a welcome addition. Can’t wait to see her Vancouver Convention Centre Five Sails getup.
Marketing Project Manager
Nadia brings a sophisticated style sense and a well-seasoned production expertise from over 300 projects shooting tasty videos for Purely Inspired and high-profile athletes for Six Star and MuscleTech. She’s also managed over 70 product videos for Amazon. Nadia had a brief stint as a hand model until her left index finger asked for its own trailer. When she’s not crunching schedules and helping Gerald find paperclips, Nadia collects vinyl records, ogles vintage clothing and volunteers at Toronto Fashion Week, trolling the best parties so she can raid the swag bags.
Marketing Project Manager
Like Cher, Beyoncé and Adele, Shilpika goes by a single name. Possibly because it makes more room to list her accomplishments, such as an MBA in Business Strategy, a Masters in Journalism & Communications and a Bachelor’s in Mathematical Science. Her certifications include Agile Project Management, Digital Marketing and Lean Six Sigma. Oh, and she’s also a film producer. In her spare time Shilpika volunteers for the Vancouver International South Asian Film Festival and is building a particle accelerator in her basement. (That last bit was a joke. We hope.)
Marketing & Operations Manager
On her way to medical school, clutching her BA in Professional Writing and BBA in Management, Leadership, Sujina was bewitched by business and lured into the world of marketing and business strategy. Which, by golly, is exactly what she does for CREW. From pulling together complex new business proposals to buffing up the brand on social media, sunny Sujina crosses many departmental boundaries without ever stepping on any managerial toes. Except Braden’s (actually it’s more like nailing his boat shoes to the floor) in order to keep him focused and on track. She’s also an accomplished portraitist, cyclist and plays requests on cowbell. Really.
Web Project Manager
CREW’s web department always has a lot on the go. Okay, more than a lot. But none of that seems to phase Susie one bit. Perhaps her skill at multi-tasking projects and solving client problems on the fly comes from the fact she’s raising two very active twins and helping manage her husband’s construction company. So, yeah, she’s certainly well prepared for our fast-moving digital environment. But no training can substitute for her positive, sunny spirit which makes Susie so delightful to work with. Maybe it’s her Dutch Indonesian background. Edam, that’s a fine spring roll!
Digital Marketing Manager
Graduating from Canada’s most creative college, Sheridan, Tim has held a variety of positions that have all contributed to his dizzying digital skillset. From logistics management to marketing coordination, media planning to digital dominance, Tim has crushed (and crunched) the numbers for the likes of MediaCom, UM Worldwide, Cossette and Starcom. And now CREW. A certified trampoline coach and film projectionist, his latest passion is Smart Home connectivity. But he’s a little worried the microwave is talking to the PVR behind his back.
